-That said, here's a criitique of Fahrenheit 9/11 by interjections.

-Michael Moore is a propagandist. This is not news; both Roger & Me and Bowling for Columbine (to name two) distorted the facts, sometimes immensely.

-However, in this day and age, I suspect the best we can hope for is a wide diversity of propaganda.

extremist though it may be, the issues do get attention, and that's good..

and he at least tells his story in an entertaining way. it might be embellished or massaged, but it's entertaining and thought provoking..

Honestly, who goes into any film that makes it to a non-arthouse theater *not* expecting it to be propagandist? The films came damn near straight from Hollywood; of course they distort the facts. That's what sells tickets. And Michael Moore, much as he may hate the machine, is still all about being a budding American capitalist, just trying to make his way in this country by the rules that govern it. -H...
