-Took an hour off from the Nonhuman Religions section of Banestorm to write up one of the monster races for the Characters chapter. Managed to put a nice new spin on it; I suspect we're going to see players falling all over each other to play this race. As I said to Kromm (the GURPS line editor) a while back, "In D&D, you have to jump through hoops to allow monster PCs. In GURPS you just raise the campaign point total. We should exploit this."

-While engaged in said exploiting, I found this page very useful. (Though not exhaustive; it lacks "pantherine" for one. I'd love a reference that included every -ine formation and every collective noun (pride, gaggle, etc.).) So now when I say, "That was very phascolomian of you," you'll know whether to smack me.

-Oh, and SJGames has announced what the deluxe edition of GURPS 4e will look like. Migod, but it's gonna be sweet. Bonded leather, foil stamping, dustcovers, slipcased, tipped-in autograph sheet, and more.

"COUNT THE DEAD, KROMM!!"

I bet he gets that a lot.

I, for one, would not engage the wombat
in any form of mortal combat.

So that's where "asinine" comes from. How completely apt.

Since you are not Ursula Vernon, I would be inclined to treat any implications of phascolomy as pejorative.

So... will you be getting a deluxe set? And, if so, will you be getting it from us? I'm trying to decide how many to get, you see.

-At the moment, I simply can't justify the expense.
