Legoland: Oh, And
Jun. 2nd, 2014 03:08 pmOh, and: The Boston Miniland was spectacular, including Cheers, the Somerville Theater, and the Hancock Tower, among much else. (I'm still not sure how they achieved the look of the Hancock Tower. Lego doesn't have transparent-slash-reflective blue pieces. I think the windows are trans-blue in front of trans-smoky gray, with lights behind them.) And Roo went on the Merlin's Apprentice ride. Twice!

Date: 2014-06-02 07:51 pm (UTC)We loved Legoland in Florida, but I heard that the discovery zones don't let in adults without kids except on adult night. I don't really care if there are kids running around when I'm there. And the adult nights tend to be weekdays, which is not an option for us since G works late and doesn't get home until after 7 most nights. We wouldn't be able to actually get there until well after 8.

Date: 2014-06-02 08:56 pm (UTC)Thanks for the info. I guess wont be shopping there, I'll just continue to order on-line or go to the store in Burlington. No sense driving all the way to Somerville just to shop when we can do that closer to home.
BTW, I got the new Fairground Mixer (10244) last week, I haven't put it together yet. I need to take apart the Tower Bridge to make room for the amusement park. I'm looking forward to more rides. I already have the carousel and a train (the old style electrified rail one). I want a Ferris Wheel, and a roller coaster. :)
