(No one needs this much sand green brick!)

I was looking for a lot of sand green when I was trying to put together a Green Grocer set. (It's $750. since it's been discontinued. Yikes.) I found very little sand green anyplace, barely any on Bricklink at the time and none in Pick-a-brick at all. I ended up building it with regular green bricks.

Yesterday I finished assembling the Tower Bridge kit. It's pretty awesome, but I think they inentionally used more bricks than necessary to inflate the brick count. Instead of using a single 1x12 flat, that I know they make, they would use 3-1x4's. I noticed this in a few situations. But it's still a cool set. It took about four days to build it. It'll be together for a while, taking it apart will take as long as putting it together.

You're building the Statue of Liberty?

Many years ago, some friends (Hal & Michelle, as it happens) gave me 3450: Statue Of Liberty as a gift.

My Lego collection has never really recovered from the influx of 2500+ sand green bricks.

You could build an FOB for your LEGO Afghan war.

There is truth in your words... and also insanity.
