Jewel Cases
Aug. 20th, 2012 11:09 amTo save room, I'm finally moving my CDs out of their plastic cases and into binders. (They're all ripped to digital anyway, so it's not like I need ready access.) I just did a quick check to see if CD cases are recyclable, and found out that they're plastic type 6, and "notoriously hard to recycle".
However, the Malden sanitation website clearly states that they take plastic types 1 through 7, so I'm going to assume they know something I don't.
(Unless someone out there was in need of jewel cases? No? Didn't think so.)
