R Is For Ray
Jun. 6th, 2012 11:34 amThe first moment I identified as a science fiction fan, was when our grade-school librarian said, "I see you like spaceships and things like that! Here, I think you'll enjoy R Is For Rocket." And I did.
While I could toss out a hundred criticisms of Mr. Bradbury's work, I'd rather say that SF needs its poets as much as its engineers, that nostalgia is best when dandelion-scented, and books are far better read than burnt.
