-Since my sister and I both have birthdays at the end of May, there is usually a family get-together around that time. This year, scheduling placed it on Friday evening. Jen/

anotherjen and I also decided that it was well past time she met my folks. I had complete faith it would go swimmingly, and it did. The extended theological discussion made me briefly nervous (Jen is Jewish/pagan, my mother is an Episcopalian priest), but that was just me being silly. Jen's comment afterwards was that she wants to adopt my family, my mother's comment was that I should do whatever it takes to hang on to Jen.

-Saturday Jen and I attended a formal dinner. The hostess and her cohort did a spectacular and awe-inspiring job -- the last meal I had at the Bay Tower was neither as good nor as pretty. I met some lovely people, re-met some others, and got to know them all better.

-Sunday afternoon was the biweekly D&D game I'm in. My half-elf archer was off training, so I got to play the party's NPC pseudo-German fighter. Had the pleasure of delivering the killing blow to at least two ghouls, happy happy. Sunday evening, a first date with a new friend. Went quite well, I think. (Happy happy redux.)

-And now I need to make up for the fact that I haven't gotten any writing done this weekend...
