[Roo] Socks!

woodwardiocomYesterday I set Roo down on the futon, dumped out her clean laundry on the other end, tossed her a sock, and had time to sort and put away all her laundry because, as far as she was concerned, a sock was the BEST TOY EVER!
I wish I could get that excited about a sock...

Date: 2012-04-30 03:47 pm (UTC)Seriously for a moment: I was once at a design workshop where the instructor asked people to brainstorm a list of things they could do with a paperclip. (Try it yourself for a moment before reading on, if you like.)
The mean number of suggestions was in the low 30s, with a high of 50.
Then he told us that he gave this same question to a group of 5th graders. Their mean number of suggestions approached 200 (I forget the exact number).
Kids have awesome minds, truly.
