I want to post more about being a dad, but what to say? I love her babble (especially her da-da-da-da babble). I love seeing how aware she is of her surroudings, and how she draws conclusions ("I hear creaking from the stairs! Someone is coming downstairs to smile at me!"). I love the way she grabs my chin if it gets within range. I love that she can stay seated all by herself for extended periods. I love her exasperated sigh (that she got from me). I love that she finds bath-time really interesting, and not at all traumatic, even when Dad bonks her head on the edge of her pod.

And her smile continues to knock me over every time.

It’s OK, you can post the same stuff over and over again. When it’s about Roo, I really don’t mind; I love reading the same stuff over and over again.

Tweets from parenthood:

3:00am Oh G-d it’s early, but even at this hour baby is adorable.
6:00am Wow, what an adorable baby!
10:00am I meant to post a couple hours ago how adorable the baby is! Well, she’s still adorable.
11:30am Not yet king. ’Sokay; my baby’s still adorable.
1:00pm Wow, what an adorable baby!
1:10pm I’m feeling a sense of déjà vu here.
2:00pm Have I told you lately how utterly adorable my baby is?

But speaking on behalf of all of your audience¹, I can say that I just love reading it! (Especially when the baby is just so freakin’ adorable!)
¹ Which I can do without fear of contradiction, having gagged the rest of them and tied them up and locked them in the closet.

It is totally fine to post a lot about how cute the kid is! And someday, you can bundle all your posts up in some archive, and hand them to her, and she will be extremely embarrassed (if she's a teenager), but it will probably make an impression. O:>

Also, you can look back on these days of a Happy Baby fondly when you have the Sulky Tween or whatever. *evil grin*

I demand photographic evidence of said adorableness. it's been entirely too long since I got my Roo fix.

Best. Thing. Evar.

Also the hardest. But wholly and utterly worth it.

I'm so glad you're enjoying this ride so much!
