-When you're writing about orc nomads, and you're wondering, "Hey, what's nomad life like, anyhow?", The Complete National Geographic on CD-ROM is juuust what the doctor ordered. There's a pic in a 1989 article on Tibetan nomads that looks exactly like a view across the Orclands, with the mountains of Zarak rising in the distance, and an orc tribe in the middle distance. (With, of course, all due apologies to the Tibetans, who are not in any way orcish to the best of my knowledge.) Gonna send that one in with my art notes, youbetcha.

Sorry to say I probably don't have that one in hard copy for ya- my soon-to-be-auctioned collection runs from mid-1918 to mid-1989...

-Let's see, the 2000 edition is about $125 from Amazon.com, but you can get it cheaper on eBay.

Really looking forward to this book. I always kinda liked Yrth, ever since I picked up GURPS Tredroy in a bargain bin back in 198?.
