Books: DC Comics Reboot Thus Far

The Good: Action Comics (though I'm not wild about Supes' "threaten to drop from a height" torture techniques), Batgirl, Batwing, Detective (the Bat-verse is looking pretty good), Static Shock (surprisingly good science, nice tie-ins to past Milestone history, and I like Hardware as a supporting character).
The Bad: Hawk & Dove (bad art), OMAC (bad grammar), Stormwatch (bad writing; very over-explain-y).
The Unremarkable: Animal Man, Green Arrow, Men Of War (I like that MOW acknowledges the role supers will play in war zones, but it still doesn't do much in its first issue).
The Undecided: Justice League, Justice League International, Swamp Thing.

Overall, I am not thus far impressed.

hey, that reminds me that I've been meaning to ask and I bet you're the right person to ask: What was Spiderman's highest level of education? He got really into a lab at some point, but I can't remember if he was ever a grad student.

He's certainly a college graduate, and has done post-grad work, but I don't think he's ever gotten his masters.

(Oh, and his name takes a hyphen: "Spider-Man".)

Thanks for the tips. I've just tried Action and Detective so far of the wave. Grant Morrison has always left me a bit cold, for whatever reason, and continues to. But I very much enjoyed Detective. Static Shock and Batwing are awaiting my time. (Most things by Gail Simone are on my "automatic-buy-in-trade" RADAR, so I didn't go for Batgirl yet.)
