For those unaware, LJ's recent ups and (mostly) downs have been due to a DDOS attack, presumably for the same reasons as the last one: There are Russian LJ users who speak out against corruption in their political system, and their enemies are trying to silence them.

Ah. No surprise. Thanks for the update. I'd not investigated, just backed up in LJ Archive at my earliest convenience. I hope they sort it out soon!

In the meantime, the most reliable way to access the site is logged out. Viewing certain journals while logged in may give you a timeout error due to some bugs we're working on. If you're constantly getting errors, try clearing out your cookies and trying again.

I really wish their enemies could aim more accurately instead of taking down LJ for ALL of us :P
