woodwardiocomIt is perfectly possible to power a USB device off a standard Molex 4-pin connector inside your PC case.
It is not possible to power all gadgets with Molex 4-pin connectors off of a USB socket.
(Because some such gadgets are 12-volt, and while a Molex connector provides 5-volt and 12-volt, a USB socket only provides 5-volt.)
