Peter Falk, 1927-2011

Actor Peter Falk died yesterday. I'd like to imagine this happened after he capped his career by saying, "Just one more thing, Mr. Bulger..." I was particularly fond of his roles as himself in Wings of Desire, and as "Grandpa" in Princess Bride. Some of his best work, including Columbo and Murder, Inc., is available through Netflix Instant.

He was brilliant in "Wings of Desire." As awesome as Columbo was, Peter Falk was an even better character.

Oh no!! This is the first I heard of it.

I've never watched a lot of his stuff, but I have a fondness for him.

I remember watching Columbo growing up.
