Being a Malden resident, I need a word like "Camberville" (Cambridge-Somerville) that encompasses the Somerville-Medford-Malden axis.

Somerforden, maybe? Maldervord?

Malfaville? (you know, incorporating "Meffa")

Somorden? Nah...that sounds like somewhere in Middle Earth.

Malfordville? Meh.

Meddenville? I kinda like ones that end in "ville".

Is that where Superman tricks the evil wizard into saying his name backwards so he'll return to his own dimension?

SOME places use things like "the greater metro area." But I'm guessing this will not satisfy...

Ha! Ignoring Everett entirely are we? :)

As an Everett resident Brian referred to Malden as "Maldonia" - maybe there is a convenient way to smoosh Somerville and Medford in there?

Maldedfordille?

Oh, my employer (who recruits patients from your area) refers to the area as "MetroNorth".

You live in Malden? That's interesting, because I know someone who's moving to Malden in 2 days.

You might know her. She's the sort to travel in a variety of social circles, including at least one of yours, but she's hard to pin down. Still, you'd probably recognize her even if you'd only briefly met - short, long brown hair, easy laugh, does a mean Princess Leia impression... does any of that sound familiar?

Hmm, is she some kinda smart-ass?

And, do you need help with the move?

Smart-ass? Oh, no. Never. She's the very soul of propriety.

Most of the move is done. At this point I'm just figuring out how to set up my stuff while also finding time for gaming, the steampunk festival and Mother's Day. I still need to move some stuff, but that'll happen in piecemeal.

We must make sure to have you over sometime for gaming and such.

I'm hoping to make it to Steampunk City, but plans may change...
