Arisia Finds
Jan. 17th, 2011 06:03 pmArisia was delightful in many ways.
One of them was the estate sale on Monday, where I scored a complete set of 1941 Astoundings (which includes Asimov's "Nightfall," some Lensman, and so much Heinlein that half of it is under a pseudonym). I also got first editions of Best of Science Fiction (the first SF anthology, ever), Possible Worlds of Science Fiction, and Children of the Atom.
I passed on the first edition, autographed Foundation trilogy, which went for $800. Probably for the best.
