So, now that I've finally seen Sunset Blvd., the only remaining films from the top 50 at the IMDb that I haven't seen are American History X, Apocalypse Now, and Paths of Glory.

American History X was better than I expected given the backstory,i expected it to be a sucky mess. I should resee apocalypse Now, it's been 20 years, don't know Paths of Glory

I know I've seen American History X, but my brain keeps confusing with the movie with Ian McKellan as the former Nazi. It's incredibly bizarre.

AN also has the most incredible casting, some of it after the fact like R. Lee Ermey, a skinny, nerdy Harrison Ford, and an unrecognizeable and nearly non-speaking Laurence Fishburne.
