Do you have your sales and shipment system streamlined in any way that might be helpful in inspiring me to get going on actual sales? Do you use a Mail Boxes etc or anyplace like that to pack and ship? Or do you just buy supplies and do it yourself?

-Yah, I do the packing myself. I keep every halfway decent box that enters the house, and I also buy from ULine whenever I need a lot of stuff. (Like, for a few months I was doing nothing but rolled posters, so I bought a box of shipping tubes. Now I'm doing MtG cards, so I bought a bunch of 6" by 6" rigid self-sealing mailers.) I use plastic grocery bags for padding when necessary.

-The streamlining just comes from having the discipline to do it every day at the time appointed. I list five items a day. (You might not need such a rigorous schedule.) I depend a lot on letting eBay, PayPal, and the post office keep my records for me. E.g., the receipts from the PO list the date and destination zip code for every item I mail, so if someone asks, "When did you ship my item?" I just flip through a few receipts to find out. Trusting that the info is there saves me time.

-Oh, and the book eBay Hacks from O'Reilly is worth getting.

If ebay suspends you for any length of time, though, you are fucked if you are using them to keep your records straight.
