So, what do people think of the Zeemote? (Compact wireless thumbstick for remote gaming.)

And, what do people think of the Kindle? (Amazon.com's wireless reading device.)

Haven't seen or tried the Zeemore, but I am not much in favor of the Kindle, largely because I suspect it to be one of the ulterior motives behind Amazon's recent changes in POD policies (yes, it's an ebook reader, but I do believe they are trying to position it so that POD will be deliverable to it. No, I have no evidence at present to support this theory.)

[edited to expand reasoning and minor clarification.]

Aside from Amazon's politics -- I am not in favor of the last self-publish-on-Kindle contract they had up -- I've heard the Kindle is reasonably easy to use.

Writer-persective on Kindle: That contract needs a lot of revamping.
User-perspective: Damn, I'm looking forward to bringing just the Kindle on the plane, instead of stacks of heavy books.

I should bring mine to Diesel next week.

I like the idea of the Kindle, but the combo of expensive platform + expensive/DRMed/non-transferable books is a turnoff for me. If they're going to make them nontransferable and nonlendable, they should cost about a quarter of what they're currently charging. (I know why books cost what they do...paper is expensive. Kindle ebooks cost the same because...?)
