This morning, I'm slicing up the last of the (delicious) loaf of bread

Bey: The last of the bread . . .
Jon: Yeah, it was good. We should remember to thank T.
Bey: Wish I'd had some.
Jon: You didn't have any?
Bey: I had two slices.
Jon: I've only been eating two slices a day.
Bey (accusingly): Yeah, every day.
Jon: . . . Who's holding the knife?
Bey: You are.
Jon: That's right.
Bey: The last of the bread . . .
Jon: Yeah, it was good. We should remember to thank T.
