I *almost* went there, then blithely went forward on the assumption of proper use of "until."
Now my brain can't hear the word until as a real word anymore. More like aunt hill. I know. I'm weird.

I chose until, but much depends on context. If a character is speaking the word, which would they use based on their particular speech patterns and dialect?

I like ’til, but there’s always the risk some illiterate knuckle-dragger who depends on Redmond for spelling and punctuation advice will typeset it as ‘til, causing me to fly into an apoplectic rage and start World War III.
