Fascinating. My brain never processed that as a link. It just looked like another graphical decoration "Next Now" - as though that were some kind of hipster slogan for the comic.

Come to think of it, Next Now would be a good band name...

Hm, I'm all for clever and hot new web comics but this seems more unashamedly commercial than most.

It struck me as a really interesting experiment.

And, the rather clever way they wrapped up the plot when they ran out of funding was, well, clever.

All that said, it's not in the top 20 webcomics I've ever read.
