-Based strictly on the possibility that I might be joining an RPG campaign (we're having a mutual audition in about two weeks), I've been mentally fiddling with character concepts, browsing through big fat hardcovers, making plans to burrow through the bargain bins at Pandemonium for more books to root through, drawing up spreadsheets of ability scores, picking out skills . . .

-Yeah, I'm a character-creation junkie. I can admit it.

Nor any less. No pre-orders on this one means that it gets what most of the other GURPS supplements do; I have no qualms about re-ordering. (I did it for MI3, after all.) You think you'll sell out by the end of the week?

*grin* when i first discovered AD&D in high school i sat down and made something like a dozen characters that weekend, just for the sheer joy of creation. i still adore making characters, though i find i've been not as inspired recently, mostly because i keep getting hung up on whether or not i actually want to play the concepts i come up with in the relevant campaigns. *shake head* i've got to get beyond that somehow...

sadly, I've only ever been in two campaigns.. one about 11 or 12 years ago, and the one I've been in for a year. I always wanted to play, but could never find any games to join :(
