Mar. 7th, 2004 10:24 pmIn the spirit of
robin_d_laws, I give you a new word:
pleh-GA-noid
adjective
from the West Germanic plegan cultivate, practice, play + -oid like, formed to contrast humanoid.
In a roleplaying game, being a member of one of the player character races, as distinct from non-player-character "monster" races. E.g., in classic Dungeons & Dragons, being a human or elf instead of an orc or sphinx. "None of the residents of this town are of the pleganoid races."
