Beating the Drum: Wedding Gowns
Jul. 7th, 2007 10:51 pmFor those of you who don't read her LJ, my good friend
weegoddess runs Conscious Elegance, where she creates eco-gentle wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, ball gowns, et cetera. Her work is beautiful, stylish, and frequently geeky (as shown by the Buttercup model). If you're looking, I highly recommend her.

Date: 2007-07-08 08:48 pm (UTC)I'm still not sure how I feel about charging my friends; you guys are family and it feels weird. I think this is something i need to get over.
BTW, I just finished 7 new sketches which I'm planning to flesh out into toiles once we get back from our US visit. They're much more of the princess-style ball gown type, as well as number 8 which is the design for 'Elena' (I'd promised Jess that I would wait a year before offering it, so it could be hers alone for her first year of marriage). If you do decide to consider ordering a dress and you don't see one already in the collection that you *have* to have, then you might want to wait a few months for the new Fall/Winter additions to the line.
They will be Splendiferous. ;-D
