-My brother, in his blog, points to an article on the decline of the magazine cover. I kinda wondered what the fuss was about, until I realized I don't read any magazines that feature that sort of cover.

-One magazine I do read is Wired (mostly because it makes good fodder for writing SF -- I'm largely unconcerned about its journalistic merit). And Wired isn't afraid to get funky with its cover:

-So maybe people aren't looking in the right places.

Wired has some of the best magazine covers out there. Speaking of which, has anyone noticed this month's issue of Marie Claire with Sarah Michelle Gellar on the cover ? IF you look at her eyes, one is much larger than the other. Either someone didn't Photoshop her eyes, or they screwed up big time.

nice work, Jon

These are fabulous covers. Not just great photos, but creative and inventive. the diamond-encrusted boobs are nice too ;-)

I'm a little bitter about the "Jobs Are Going To India" cover- 26 of my co-workers have just been replaced with Indian workers earning $4,000-$6,000/year. Someday the only high-tech jobs left in the US will be the executives.
