What I Did Today To Fight Joblessness

-Sent a resume off to a company found through Monster.com, who are looking for a DB admin -- not that I have much DB admin experience, but the worst they can say is "no", right? Networked with an old friend re: a position at General Dynamics, but they're looking for someone with more embedded experience. Pestered one publisher for an advance I'm owed, another for royalties. Moved forward a smidge on Unannounced Project FC. Worked on the website I'm making for a friend. Listed five comic book bundles on eBay. Mentioned my job hunt pretty much every time someone asked me how I was doing. Was frugal at the comic book store.

-The other day my sister/signsoflife mentioned that she was proud of me for how I'm handling my unemployment -- not just lying around the house, but actually being productive with my time. Guess this was the kinda stuff she meant.
