-Me and Hellboy go back, so I picked this up on principle. It's a solid modern horror novel, neither overwritten nor underwritten, with an adequate number of twists. It's not as pulpy as the Christopher Golden novels, but it kept me entertained.
i still need to pick that one up. my favourites, so far, have been the lebbon and the hodge (due entirely to the fact that the prose is pretty much wonderful from both.)
