-Since Jen/[livejournal.com profile] anotherjen asked, I keep two gift registries. One is a standard Amazon.com Wish List, the other is at GiftMe.com. GiftMe isn't perfect, but they allow you to maintain a regisrtry of whatever you might want, not just products some particular site sells.

(Yes, I am as greedy as the day is long. And not one of your puny Earth days, either. My greed is measured in Venusian days.)

Was just perusing your gifts list and I gotta agree - you are a greedy bugger - but it's fun reading! (smile)

My two favorite items:

"Goats: Evil Chickens Don't Kiss" - just for the title alone
and
"Personal Luxury Submarine $1000000.00 - $9999999.99"

I have 3 fun links to offer you on the "own your own sub" concept -
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/adventure/0211/q_n_a.html
http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/ptech/10/24/britain.submarine.reut/
and
http://www.msnbc.com/news/984030.asp

(It's a mere $845,000 - not the $1 million you were budgeting, Dr. Evil.)

-When it comes to luxury subs, I'm looking for something more like this.

Holy Sh**t - Now THAT's a personal sub! That's TRULY a sub befitting of Dr. Evil.......

BTW - I hadn't realized what a Japan-o-phile you are .... we'll hafta "talk Tokyo" sometime. Did you read my post about "Lost In Translation" on my [livejournal.com profile] ultraferret LJ? (Your inclusion of "Kiki's Delivery Service" was the clue that you are not just a Japanese monsters and action fan - I brought home some KDS towels for the bathroom from Tokyo last year - among tons of other guano.)

I think that just thinking about this has inspired me to drop some Japan text/pix from my Japan trip last summer into my LJ and probably the [livejournal.com profile] found_objects community. But we should talk Japan sometime (I've been twice - most recently for 5 weeks).

-Yah. I'm moderately prone to technolust, but the first time I encountered that baby, the desire was nearly sexual. Want want want.

Did you read my post about "Lost In Translation" on my ultraferret LJ?

-Yep. The movie's on my list to see.
