My opinion of my new HTC Evo 4G, after one week, is that it is a very cool phone, that chews up batteries if you'll let it. You need to be very conscious of what uses power, and manage it accordingly. E.g., Live Wallpaper, while pretty, is bad. I also recommend setting up the assorted power switch widgets on one of your panels, so you can shut down Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth, Mobile Broadband, GPS, auto-syncing, etc., when you don't need them.
(There are high-capacity batteries available for this phone, but they involve replacing your back panel with one far more bulbous, and I'm not going to go that route for the moment.)
