Christmas Gifts

-I put up this post yearly to make my friends' lives easier.

-First off, you really don't have to buy me a gift. I give gifts because I enjoy doing so, not to create obligation.

-If you wanna anyway, there are several generic categories that work:

• Amazon.com gift certificates make me very happy.
• L.L. Bean gift certificates.
• Chocolate, especially Lindt truffles. (But no more marzipan, please.)
• A Christmas tree ornament that says something about you, me, or us.
• Donations to charity (particularly cancer research).

-I also have a well-stocked Amazon.com wishlist. (I still have a Giftme.com registry, as well, but I've pared it down to bare-bones — Amazon covers most of my needs.)
