Books: Hellboy: The God Machine by Thomas Sniegoski

-Me and Hellboy go back, so I picked this up on principle. It's a solid modern horror novel, neither overwritten nor underwritten, with an adequate number of twists. It's not as pulpy as the Christopher Golden novels, but it kept me entertained.

Whither Robot Day?

-So, we have Talk Like a Pirate Day (Sep. 19th), Day of the Ninja (Dec. 5th), and even Monkey Day (Dec. 14th).

-I see an obvious gap.

-I hereby propose October 1st (10/01) as International Robot Day, a day on which we revere our patron saint R2-D2, and celebrate all things robotic, such as logic, lubricating grease, and the destruction of puny humans.
