It's Like Time Travel
Sep. 26th, 2003 01:41 pm-I'm currently cat-sitting again, and my friends have a Tivo. This is not good. I was watching Enterprise (why, I'm no longer sure), and when it was over, I hit a few buttons experiementally, and discovered it had recorded last week's ep, which I missed. So I watched that, too. The next day, I watched the new American Coupling "live" (bleh). Partway through, I had to get a drink, and being able to pause live television really made the sale. I came back, resumed play, and during the next commercial fast-forwarded until I caught up with "the present". This is what owning a time machine must feel like.

Date: 2003-09-27 01:54 am (UTC)The BBC version of Coupling rocks. I'm not going to watch the US one because (a) everyone says it sucks and (b) I think it might sully the good version it is copying.
