-Has anyone here ever bought anything through a "second chance offer" on eBay? Why do we even have that lever?

I've sold a ton of stuff that way. I closed out a section of our mail order business that way, so I had another identical item in many cases.

I've never bought anything through second chance, but then I've never bought anything on ebay period.

-Interesting. Whenever I sell a comic book poster for an obscene amount, and have another in stock, I make a second chance offer to the next-highest bidder. I'm 0 for 3 so far. Well, no harm in trying.

I've sold a couple thousand items on ebay. I think it is a numbers thing.
