For those of you who've played with that pesky rolling-ball puzzle (the "Superplexus") at one of our parties, here's a webpage by the inventor, mildly unfinished, about its history.

(It's reassuring to learn that the guy who created the darn thing has only solved it five times.)

I didn't think that thing was all that hard; it was quite frustrating in the beginning until I decided that I was going to conquer the damn thing whether it liked it or not. I think I ran the three legs of the maze within the next hour and a half. Unfortunately, it didn't have batteries in it, so I didn't get all the bells and whistles that I can only imagine would be distracting.
