It's Odd...
Feb. 13th, 2004 02:58 pm-One of the ways I'm financing my unemployment is by selling items from my extensive personal library, mostly on eBay. You'd think that this would be depressing. Oddly, no. The feeling is more like, "My god, how long has that been on my shelf? Off it goes!" It's very liberating. And mildly enriching. And my library is getting leaner and meaner with every redundant, dull, lifeless bundle of paper I sell.

Date: 2004-02-14 10:09 pm (UTC)Again recently I did a MASSIVE cleanout of all kinds of junk. I tried to give away and recycle whatever I could, but after a while if I couldn't put it to good use out it went.
40 contractor sized trash bags later I now have a MUCH less cluttered house, and there's something to be said about a person's living space being a reflection of their psyche :)
