I've had a Facebook account for a while. Never did anything with it.

However, it looks like the D&D group I'm getting sucked into is using FB for communication, so I decided to bite the bullet.

Some of you may expect a friends request...

So, Right, That D&D Thing...

Last week, one of our downstairs tenants (named L.A.) pops up to grab the next volume of X-Men and make a proposition. We introduced him and his boyfriend to Munchkin and other board games, and they're most familiar with computer games.

L.A.: So, us and some of our firends tried Werewolf, and we're thinkin' about starting a game of D&D.

Me: Oh, cool! I can definitely offer you some advice on that, and if you go with v3.5, you can borrow my books.

L.A.: Well, we were hoping you would play, since most of us have never played before.

Me: Uh, sure! I can't make a huge time committment, but if the game is in the house, I should be able to manage.

buxom_bey: (interjects) And you need more grown-up time!

Me: And I need more grown-up time. Who's Dungeon Mastering?

L.A.: Um, well, none of us have DM'd, so it might be Angel [other tenant], or, um, me, or, um...

Me: ...

...And that's how I ended up as acting DM for a Pathfinder game.
