cathijosephine was working her way through my DVD collection, and was watching 2001. I watched part of it with her. We're at the bit where Discovery has made it to Jupiter, and we're being treated to lingering shots of the Jovian moon system.
I turn to CJ and say, "I'm a fan of this movie. I've seen and enjoyed it many times. And even I think the Star Gate sequence is twice as long as it needs to be."
She replied, "How much longer does it have to go?"
I gave her a pitying look. "Oh, sweetie. It hasn't started yet."
