A Fate Decided by Tape Measure
The house we're in the process of buying (which I really need to make an icon for) currently has no parking whatsoever.
If we want to dig a parking spot out of the front yard, the City of Malden requires that it be 17' deep.

buxom_bey and I just went over there with flashlight and tape measure.
The house is 19' from the sidewalk.
