Man, I Wish I'd Been Videotaping That

So, I've got the Lego Optimus Prime I've been crafting 95% assembled, and I'm making some adjustments to (essentially) his collarbone/neckplate, when suddenly his knee joints, hip joints, and torso-chest connection fold up like origami, and I'm left holding his collarbone in midair over a pile of Optimus-parts. I had about one second of "crap" followed by a series of giggles and snorts.

I think his hips and knees are simply not stiff enough to hold up his top-heavy upper body reliably. Unfortunately, they're the stiffest joints Lego makes. (Exo-Force rotation joints.) I may have to craft some sort of ratcheted cog.
