Reading McCloud Makes You Question Stuff

I am a paragraph in italics.
And I am tired of people imposing their cultural expectations on me.
I am not emphatic.
I am not the title of a movie, book, or other "long work".
I do not represent someone's inner thoughts.
I am not in a foreign language.
And I am not from Italy.
I am in italics
because I think it looks pretty.
So stop oppressing me!

Books: We by Yevgeny Zamyatin

-This is an early Russian dystopian novel, banned in the Soviet Union. It was one of the major inspirations for Nineteen Eighty-Four. Also, kinda dull. I'm afraid I didn't finish it.
