Promethean Again
Aug. 29th, 2006 08:14 am-White Wolf, as an RPG company, takes a lot of pride in their ideas, but often seems to take less pride in their execution. In the case of this book, the writers and editor have suffered from it's/its confusion, and also horde/hoard and their/there confusion. Genuine typos and missing words I have some tolerance for, since sometimes one's fingers slip, but these are more the result of ignorance and apathy, and they really get up my nose.
(On the other hand, I thought they had misspelled "amoeba", but it turns out "ameba" is a legitimate alternate spelling.)
(On the third hand, the mistakes I've noticed have been fairly scattered, counted in pages per error, not errors per page, so that's nice.)
