• "Looks like I'm going nowhere," is quoted in Free Enterprise, a (non-documentary) movie about SF fans.
  
• "What are you prepared to do?" is one of the few English lines in Kung Fu Hustle.
  
• The song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" is sung and played by Jack Nicholson in As Good as it Gets, and the line is quoted in Sliding Doors.
  
• "Coulda been a contender," appears in The Abyss. (One of the characters is an ex-boxer.)
  
• And, the parrot in Eight-Legged Freaks has been trained to say, "I see dead people! I see dead people!"
