Housewarming
Apr. 3rd, 2006 11:52 am-Saturday, Bey/
buxom_bey and I invited over a few friends for our housewarming. Holy cats, that was nice. Thank you all for your presence, your gifts, for bringing food, and for being so complimentary about our home. We have fantastic friends.
-Two lessons learned: Number one, we should never buy food again. Instead, when we're running low, we should throw a party and invite people to bring stuff. We're gonna be dining on (delicious) leftovers for the rest of the week, and the sundae fixings will last us much longer.
-Number two, make the ice cream the night before, and freeze it, if we don't want that "soft serve" consistency. (Regardless, it was a big hit. One thing we definitely didn't have leftovers of was the homemade ice cream.)
-Lost and found: Ilana, we have your hat. Also found, what appears to be a large ring, in the bedroom.
-Thank you all again.
