-In regards to this recent Something Positive, what Davan just gave his father is not Neil Gaiman's Sandman, but rather a collection of the first appearances of the Golden Age Sandman from the 1940s. You can tell by the cover; DC's Archive Editions all have that triangle-on-black trade dress.
