Coming Attractions: Kung Fu Hustle

-Before Steamboy, bluegargantua and I saw a trailer for Kung Fu Hustle. As it concluded, he leaned over and said, "We just bought tickets to that!"

-Since I was trying to find a polite way of saying, "Dear god, I think I just had a kung-fu-gasm," I agreed emphatically.

-Matrix-quality CGI kung fu battles. Dance scenes. 1940s Chinese gangsters. Comedy. Drama. And a landlady who can huff and puff and kiai your house down.

Kung Fu Hustle

-Since there seems to be a lot of enthusiasm for this film, I'm announcing my intent to see it on April 23rd, at the Kendall in Cambridge. I'll announce an exact time closer to the date, and we can make an outing of it.
