Newer & More Crushier Than Ever

-Regarding the new crush meme that's going around, be aware that it's appallingly easy to hack, and the owners might sell the data, so don't put in any crushes you wouldn't want broadcast to the world.

-Oh, and when it asks you to enter Password/Confirm Password, don't use your LJ password, make up something new.

-Anyway, the definition of "crush" I'm using is: "Fond of, and attracted to, but I don't necessarily think we're compatible for anything beyond cuddling."

(I'm specifically excluding A) women I think are attractive, but only really know through LJ, and B) women I'm trying to Get Over, Already. I also decided that "If she gave me an unexpected kiss, would I enjoy it?" was not discriminatory enough on the "attracted to" criterion...)

It's A Check

-In my mailbox today I discovered my first real paycheck in over a year. Found myself singing "It's a check/It's a check/It's a very very large cheeeck..." in an operatic style as I went in the house.

[sniff, sniff] I'm smelling it now. It smells like, hmm, the Firefly DVD set, [sniff, sniff], and a gift for Jen, [sniff, sniff] and tempura!

-No, wait, that's actually my leftover tempura.
